This bag is created out of recycled antique kimono silk made from kimonos that are too worn or stained to be used whole anymore. Considering the thickness of this fabric, it is likely it came from an obi belt. This pattern depicts leaves and red flowers on a dark silver background. The inner lining is red dupioni silk. Silk has been used in the occult world to guard against negative energies, and to balance and amplify positive intentions.
